Mesa Verde Jazz Ensemble is mostly made up of 8th graders of students that have done jazz since the 6th grade. Most of the students have developed and appetite for jazz and will continue through high school.

SDYJO members are from everywhere in San Diego County. Mostly high school students with experience playing jazz since middle school. Several are from Mesa Verde.
